Okay - if Joyent isn’t coming through with the goods, give me Foldera!

This chat with a Foldera developer on the subject of GTD is most tantalizing.
Greetings, Folderons. Send me an account, please.

Niche is not a four letter word. ®
Posted July 27th, 2006 in This is Awesome
Awesome list of niche businesses. (Dumb? Are you kidding?)
Those great ideas got me thinking. Part of the thrill in running ELSEWARES is the chance to meet and work with enterprising designers who have the drive and audacity to unleash their ideas on the world. Of course some people might think eggs that sprout herbs, wallets made of gaffers tape, or sea creatures made of socks are a little off-the-wall. But we think they rock. We want to fill the world with them.
So you heard it here first: niche is not a four letter word.

Knock knock. Who’s there? Robert Redford?
Posted July 24th, 2006 in Random Observations
From today’s mail:

This seems like some sort of a bait & switch so it wound up in our circular file. But Audrey quipped, “Hey, could be Robert Redford.”
Which got me thinking…there are certain parallels between ELSEWARES and Sundance. We’re a platform for independents, we take chances on new talent and new ideas, we’re about more than making a quick buck, etc.
Then I entertained a brief, delusional scenario in which Robert Redford called and we went out to lunch to talk about how our companies can work together to champion independent design.
Then I got right back to work.

Well, actually a new version of an old favorite…the Swedish Death Rope Hoody by Fjord is now available in two slick new colors: olive for the girls and dark grey for the boys. It’s the best thing since pickled herring!
