Press: Via Magazin (Austria)
Posted December 5th, 2007 in Press, This is Awesome

We love getting foreign press, because it means we get to use Google translate!
We know the yes: The party is in full swing, the mood is at the ebullition, but the hosts will pale to the nose at the sight of the glass edges on his antique coffee table. Who is spared such emotional suffering and also wants to demonstrate good taste, with the Vintage Record Coasters-sealed original Vinyl-LPs-operated well.

Craig Newmark interview
Posted June 7th, 2007 in Random Observations, This is Awesome
“The only difference between a little hobby and what we have now is that we follow through.”
I love that quote, but my favorite part of this interview is how he seems to correlate customer service and politics. Responding to people’s needs. Being a stand-up guy. Fighting disinformation professionals.
I wish Mr. Newmark were at least moderating a Presidential debate (if not participating in one).

Bloomin’ Egglings
Posted June 7th, 2007 in New Products, This is Awesome
We wanted to take a sec to show off our mastery of urban horticulture and to let you see just how cool a garden of Egglings looks in full bloom. From left to right we’ve got: wild strawberry, chrysanthemum, mint, lavender, and spicy red pepper.
We’re gonna transplant them this weekend into a large window box and then start cooking with them!

Okay, not exactly press - more like PR - but still awesome. We’re all over Basecamp like white on rice and were happy to talk about it on tape.
