Kathleen Plate makes all of her jewelry by hand using recycled wine, beer, and soda bottles. Based in Atlanta, each piece is crafted individually, with variations in shape and texture in the glass ensuring that every piece is one of a kind.
As a young girl she observed her "70's crafty mom" cutting and soldering glass, which has led Kathleen to where she is today. Incorporating recycled materials into her work is fundamental to her belief of living a simple life and honoring the earth.
