L.A. Transit Token Cufflinks
Los Angeles public transit began in 1874 in the form of a horse car system that ran on tracks throughout the city. These art deco tokens aren't quite that old, but were used in streetcars from 1958 to 1964, under the L.A. Metropolitan Transit Authority. They were retired in 1964 when the agency was relaunched as the Southern California Rapid Transit District. If you have the City of Angels in your blood, show your heart on your sleeve with these sterling silver cufflinks made with vintage tokens. Measure 0.625" across, and beautifully packaged. Made in USA.
